What time and on which TV channel is the Leinster Championship final between Dublin and Kildare airing today?

The Lilywhites are hoping to cause a big upset tonight by beating Dublin for the second time this year.

While Glenn Ryan’s side came out on top in a league game at Newbridge in February, not many chances give them a chance to repeat the trick at a sprawling Croke Park.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the Leinster decision:

What time is later today?

The game is scheduled to start at 5 p.m.

What TV channel is it on and can I stream it?

RTE Two will show it as part of a double header preceded by the Munster showpiece between Kerry and Limerick.

So you can watch the two if you want via the RTE Player.

What are the teams?

Neither Dessie Farrell nor Glenn Ryan have named their starting XVs yet.

What are the betting odds?

No surprises here as the dubs are 1/7 despite both teams having similarly poor league campaigns in which they were relegated from Division One.

It’s clear the bookies aren’t putting much stock in Kildare’s win at Newbridge either, as they are eliminated at 5/1.

You can reset the two sides at 14/1 after 70 minutes to complete the level.

Quotations corner:

Con O’Callaghan spoke to MirrorSport about being able to watch the Dubs suffer that shock defeat from his couch in February.

“It was strange to watch, it was obviously a massive game for both of us and they deservedly come out on top. They were the better team that day.

“That sets it up well for two weeks. They’re obviously a really strong team, lots of really good athletes, especially up front. I think they’re going over 20 points or 20 goals a game in the last four or five games.

“They bring a big threat there and then defensively they’re very tight at the back, they’re very physical so yeah it’s going to be a big challenge.

“It’s mostly about us and our performance, that’s how we see it, a full 70 minutes. Yes, we expect a huge challenge.”
