This week’s program includes the annual Wright Day to Give on Friday, two men’s home football games and road trips for cross country, women’s football and volleyball programs.

Cross country

Wright State’s cross country programs get back into action Saturday morning with the Live in the Lou Cross Country Classic hosted by Louisville at EP Tom Sawyer Park at the Raiders’ first races in October. Wright State last took part in the All Ohio Championship with a small contingent on September 17. For the Raiders, these are the first complete team races since September 10th in Indianapolis.

Men’s soccer

The Wright State men’s soccer team celebrates a final, second, double overtime road win in Northern Kentucky on Saturday night and returns home this week to host two games at Alumni Field. The Raiders kick off the slate with a Wednesday afternoon meeting with Milwaukee, with the first kick scheduled at 3:00 p.m., before a match against Robert Morris on Saturday night 7:00 p.m. Saturday’s game is green with a green t-shirt giveaway, while both games are scheduled to be streamed on ESPN +.

Women’s soccer

The Wright State women’s soccer team takes to the streets for their only matchup this week and travels to a Saturday night competition in Cleveland State. The Raiders celebrate a victory at home on Sunday afternoon, scoring two early goals on the way to victory. The win followed a goalless double overtime tie against Green Bay on Thursday night. Saturday night’s game against Cleveland State is expected to be streamed on ESPN +.

volleyball

The Wright State volleyball team enters its first tough test of the Horizon League schedule this week as the Raiders take to the streets for three games in four days, starting Thursday night against UIC.Wright State continues the journey in with a Friday night meetup Milwaukee left before the week ends with a Sunday afternoon matinee with Green Bay. All three road matches are to be streamed on ESPN +.
