Global Ambassador Team to drive the growth of flag football around the world
That National Football League (NFL) and the International Association of American Football (IFAF) today announced the first team of Global Flag Football Ambassador to promote, amplify and support the long-term growth of the game worldwide.
Prominent athletes Russell Wilson, Cooper Kupp and Dak Prescott Lead an all-star team of men and women, including current American football players, legends and coaches, as ambassadors who will work together to continue raising the profile and unique values of one of the world’s fastest growing sports to promote.
That Flag Football Ambassador Team will support the joint global efforts of NFL and IFAF To increase awareness, interest and participation in flag football internationally and to advance the development of the game.
“We are proud and excited to announce the original names of our Global Flag Football Ambassadors,” he said Troy Vincent, NFL Executive Vice President of Football Operations. “A global gathering of men and women representing the broader American football family who will help promote awareness, interest and participation and the values of transitional life unique to the sport of flag football as part of our strategy to encourage growth of the game in partnership with IFAF.”
Currently played by men, women, boys and girls of all ages in more than 100 countries around the world, flag football is poised for even greater expansion as a cornerstone of the NFL’s national and international participation and development strategies, and the IFAF is preparing looking forward to launching the largest international elite flag competition ever, which will include full continental representation for the first time in 2023. A fast-moving, contactless, creative and highly skilled format, Flag benefits from being accessible and inclusive, making it the perfect vehicle to attract new players, accelerate growth and spread the message of football to all.

Other players and legends of the game and coaches will follow suit Global Flag Football Ambassador team throughout NFL season 2022.
