Frankfurt Galaxy wants first win against undefeated Wroclaw Panthers

After taking home the opening ceremony ELF Championship a year ago, the Frankfurt galaxy started the 2022 season with two defeats in a row and are now behind the eighth ball in the new league Central Conference.

After falling to two brand new ELF franchises in back-to-back weeks, the Rhine Fire and Viennese Vikings, the galaxy will have a chance to win against a known enemy in the re-prominence Wroclaw panther, one of five remaining undefeated teams. However, the marquee matchup will be dominated by talk surrounding the quarterback position.

That galaxy had to play without starter Jakeb Sullivan in week 2 due to injury and struggled with that German Backup Moritz Johannknecht at the top. Sullivan’s status for Sunday remains unclear, but what is certain is that the Panthers will be without their own starter Justice Hansen following an injury last week. Wide receiver Bartek Dziedzic will take over under center and shouldn’t be underestimated as he dominated polishing Liga in 2020 while captaining one of the best teams in Europe.

That Panthers will also do without the services of import linebacker William Lloyd, prompting the addition of two new Americans. Once New York Giants Linebacker Charleus Dieuseul will intervene alongside Ex CFL Player Maxime Rouyer in defense while former Gyor Sharks Running back Nemieceo Loureiro will join French workhorse Phileas Pasqualini in the attacking backfield.

That galaxy have made and parted with a number of roster moves Russian-American Running back Gennadiy Adams, offensive lineman Lars Hampel, and French defensive tackle Vincent Buffet with injury. in their place Frankfurt added former Panthers Defensive end Karlis Brauns, fresh from an unsuccessful stint with the BC Lions of the CFL. That Latvian will add a proven disruptor to that galaxy forward and contribute to an athletic defense that notched five sacks a week ago.

The deciding factor in this game could well be the difference in offensive firepower, since Frankfurt has yet to emerge a top receiving threat from their platoon of pass catchers. Dziedzic, meanwhile, can bring it up against a trio of potential game-breakers with longtime teammates Przemyslaw Banat and Jakub Mazan, as well as import speedster Malik Stanley.
