Richard Broad is the President of American Soccer Programs and a nationally known coach and clinician. He has been a television commentator for CBS College Sports, The Big Ten Network, Fox Soccer Channel, and ESPN. He was an assistant coach at the University of Massachusetts and at Princeton University, where he played collegiate soccer. As Head Coach at George Mason University, he developed one of the top Division I programs in the country. Twice he was selected South-Atlantic Region Coach of the Year. In 1981, he was coach of the East squad in the Senior Bowl.

Richard holds an “A” license from the USSF, a Premier Diploma from the NSCAA and an International Badge from the English FA. In nine years as Boys Soccer Coach at W.T. Woodson
High School in Fairfax, Virginia, he took his teams to four state tournaments and won the 2000 Virginia State Championship. In both 2000 and 2004, he was named Virginia Division 1 Secondary School Coach of the Year.
