A special program focused on the art of scoring goals and strategies for shutting down the opposition. All players are exposed to both facets of the game. The attacking curriculum includes functional training for forwards, off-the-ball movement, combination play, shooting and decision-making in the final third. Defensive training focuses on such individual skills as tackling, heading, and other methods of clearance as well as the principles of pressure, support, cover, and shape within the team framework. Goalkeepers work on shot-saving and integration with defenders in match situations.
*Female campers will have residential accommodations and will be supervised by female staff at the Hampton Inn in Middletown.

A more sophisticated, demanding and challenging soccer experience for the talented and dedicated player. Participants are exposed to a variety of college and international coaches. An experienced coach and college player will train each team. Emphasis is on speed of play and performing effectively under pressure with limited time and space. To guarantee a high standard, everyone must be recommended by a Middle States staff member or submit a letter of reference from their coach.

An excellent opportunity to get a jump on the competition with an intense week of pre-season preparation. The week focuses on fitness and developing a solid technical and tactical foundation for the season ahead. Execution of skill under match conditions is stressed as are both offensive and defensive principles of play.
Such concepts as width, penetration, and depth in attack and pressure, support, and balance in defense are developed within practice sessions and controlled scrimmages. Both individual players and teams train in an isolated soccer environment with few distractions. Coaches are encouraged to attend with their squads.
